Today carved Celtic beads are being ingeniously created in south Wales by Annie Wealleans, alias The Black Dragon of Black Dragon Crafts.

Although Annie has come across many beautiful pieces of silver and gold Celtic jewellery, part of the ethos behind her Celtix beads was that they had to be affordable. Annie wanted to design a collection of beads with which she could produce a range of jewellery that was within everyone's reach. She has always thought it unfair that beautiful things should be the prerogative of the privileged.

Jennifer Bannister

All the materials used by Jennifer in her stunning pyrography and card making, are recycled or derive from UK managed and sustainable sources.  She has a strong ‘green’ ethos to her work and much of her inspiration comes from living close to the sea - she also makes greetings cards from dried kelp.

The Mabinogion and Mother Earth feature greatly in her work, as do her lovely dogs, Bleddyn and Fflam.

This is a gothic teen fiction, similar to the popular Twilight series.

Scarlet Hallow - goth, drop out - leaves the safety of her foster family and runs away to America to find her mother. She is soon embroiled in a mystery surrounding the elusive Daniel. Why does he figure in so many newspaper articles? What links him to the dead and dying? Scarlet finds herself sinking into a world she doesn't understand, a world of death, love and rock and roll.
